About Me
Hi, my name is Kathy Kosek and the name of my business is KJK Web Design Services. I have been involved with website development for over 20 years. Honestly, it really wasn't until after I completed my first personal website that included links to both my daughters' interests, (Art and Music) did I decide that I wanted to work on an individual basis with clients who wanted to work with a developer on a personal level. After I completed that site, I decided to start my own business called "KJK Web Design Services". Although my sites slogan is "It's All Here" meaning Art, Music, and Web Design Services –I am really proud to say that KJK Web Design Service's main strength is "Personal Customer Service". I will work with every client from beginning to end - with the end result being a website that works for them --within their budget.

Kate Kosek is a lifelong New York State resident, raised in Latham and currently living in Brooklyn. In 2009 she earned a BFA in Painting & Drawing from the State University of New York at New Paltz, where she began researching and manipulating patterns found in nature, architecture, textile design, and art history. Steering clear from the rigidity evoked by straight-edge painting, her pulsating compositions gain movement from the imperfections generated in her signature hand-crafted style. A duality is evident between the gestural and obsessive line work, as well as her wild yet refined color palette. Kate's paintings transcend conventional pattern making by creating compositions that reflect her perception of obvious and overlooked details observed in her surroundings, striving to create work that feels familiar yet fresh. Above all, she hopes to elicit a personal and fun experience for the viewer.
KATE KOSEK MEETS GORMAN
In 2014 Kate's drawings-turned-textiles were utilized for a clothing line collaboration with Australian label Gorman, which was featured on Style.com and in Australian Vogue. Her murals adorn the walls of many establishments in NYC, including the creative offices at Viacom in Manhattan, and DIY music/art venues in Brooklyn, such as Silent Barn, Death By Audio, and Shea Stadium. Her work was published in Print & Pattern Geometric (Laurence King Publishing Ltd, 2015), Carpaccio Guide to Emerging Illustrators, Photographers & Artists Vol. 5 (Atem Books, 2011), and featured on numerous blogs, including Design Milk and Pikaland.
